Supermodel And Mum, What is Miranda Kerrs Secret?

By David Morris

Stunning supermodel Miranda Kerr opened up to VOGUE magazine recently, where during an interview, she shed light on her most intimate secrete... how as a supermodel, celebrity, businesswoman and young mum, she's able to maintain her amazing figure, and at this point in her life, why she feels that having her health and happiness is more important to her than the fame and riches she's accumulated. For Miranda 'Health is Wealth' she says.

Keeping her famous body toned is not as easy as it once was, since the birth of her beautiful little boy Flynn, last January (she's blissfuly married to star or Pirates of the Caribbean, British actor Orlando Bloom).

"Working 16, 17 hours, you need to know how to take care of yourself or you'll fall off the wagon. I know it's cliched, but I feel health is wealth.''

To help keep in shape and make sure her baby weight stays off, Miranda adds that she now has to exercise daily with Pilates and yoga.

''I was lucky for a while there, I just did yoga. Now I'm exercising a whole lot more, but it's for my job.''

And Miranda let's us in on her real secret of how she stays in such great shape, and why she can still be a number one supermodel and mum at the same time...it's her passion for organic super foods, including goji berries, bee pollen, chia seeds and maca powder. Joking to VOGUE she said 'it's a lot of work!'

''It's unrealistic to think that someone has the perfect life, because nobody does. I am very lucky and I recognise that, but I can't feel bad about what I have, because I worked very hard for it.

''I especially worked hard pushing out that baby, I'm no rocket scientist - that would be something to be really proud of, but I'm doing my bit the best way possible.''

Miranda's joining an ever increasing number of A list celebrities in Hollywood, that have taken to super foods to help them lose weight, look younger and feel great, including Liz Hurley, Gwyneth Paltrow and Madonna. Oprah's celebrity TV doctor, Dr Oz often talks about super foods on his own TV show.
